The app is easy to use, just pick the tracks you want to play †, choose left or right ear and change the pitch in that ear by upto ± 4 semitomes.
We don’t want to charge for our Diplacusis Audio Player app so we have embedded adverts within it. However if you would like to support the continued development of this app by making a contribution via the apps information screen we will remove the adverts for you.

Hi Martin, I have recently been experiencing what I believe to be Diplacusis. I get it on a week for about 30-40 minutes and would like to know what your experience is of this condition and what lead you to develop this app. I Hope you can respond.
Hi Cameron, thanks for your comment. I’m certainly no expert on the condition myself. I was contacted by a Diplacusis sufferer towards the end of 2011. He was using our Tempo SlowMo app which allows you to control the pitch of music and he suggested that by allowing the pitch to be controlled per channel the app could counteract the effects of Diplacusis. I played around with the idea and decided to create this app. The guy who contacted me tested the app and was very pleased with the result.
